Set in the Alma Matter building, Matriarch feels somewhere between the lounge at the Stanley Hotel from The Shining and MCM minimalist’s dream. Great handcrafted cocktails, delicious beer, and the type of place you’ll want to have a sip at during day hours and at night.

Olympia Coffee

When I first wound up in Olympia Coffee in Olympia, I was excited to have some of the best coffee I can find in this country but hated having to drive all the way there. When another shop opened up down the street from my house I made a noise similar to a child unwrapping their best present under the tree on a holiday. Yeah, you should be this excited.
